Veerashaiva College , National Service Schema and Ballari Municipal Corporation with Janaagraha Centre for Citizenship and Democracy jointly organized “Jatha “ to create awareness about to become “ Ward Committee Members “ and also our students create awareness about “ Menstrual Hygiene” to the slum area women’s ‘ who resided in different wards in Ballari.
Total 68 students are participated in the program and divided them into four groups to cover 3 zonals in Ballari with support of zonal officers, engineers , bill collectors and D Group employees.

- In our ward which are the facilities required
- How much amount released for ward development
- How released amount going to spend
- Who are the people responding to our problems in the ward
- How we can reach elected municipal corporators and municipal corporation engineers and so on..
