158 Swami Vivekananda Birthday celebration

Swami Vivekananda's 158th birth anniversary celebrated at Veerashaiva College, Ballari on 12-01-2021.
Dr. G. Rajashekar, principal of our college and Sri. K. S. Siddalingayya, President, Sharana Sahithaya were inaugurated this event by lighting the lamp. During the celebration of National Youth Day, Mr. Praveen Shetty, B.Sc student of Veerashaiva College, released a book title ‘Dream of degree’ on this occasion. Sri. K. S. Siddalingayya enlightened all about his remarkable achievements and the relevance of his principles of Vedanta and Yoga in the present world. At the end Principal Sir spoke at length about Swamiji and quoted his powerful thoughts and ideals that had inspired millions. He sensitized the students about the spiritual leader and also motivated them to follow the footprints of Swamiji to be good and productive citizens of India, thus contributing to the development of the country. At the end the vote of thanks was delivered and the beautiful programme completed with the singing of the National Anthem.
On this occasion, all the department teaching Staff and non teaching Staff were present.
