Distribution of Food Kits and Masks to the Poor People

The college NSS units have shared the responsibility of catering to the basic needs of the lower income groups which have struggled to get means of livelihood during the lock down period. The NSS programme officers Sri Sharan Kumar and Sri Ashok Omkar and the volunteers have distributed food kits each worth of Rs 475/- to the low income families residing in Bichi colony, MV Nagar and extension area of Basaveshwar Nagar. The butter milk pockets are given to the Corona warriors who relentlessly involved in providing security to the public and preventing unnecessary movement of people in the city. The NSS officers and the volunteers created awareness among the public on the safety measures to be adopted to avoid the spread of corona. The chairman of the college Sri Gonal Rajashekhar Goud, the Principal Dr G Rajashekhar and the teaching and non teaching staff applauded the modest service rendered by the college NSS units to the lower income families during the lock down period.
