But most of the people who are capable to donate blood are not voluntarily coming forward due to wrong notions prevailing among them.
A person can save the life of three persons by donating his blood. All the healthy men and women can donate their blood regularly with a gap of 3 to 4 months. Researches in medical science have revealed that increasing of iron content in blood causes health problems. Therefore, people can reduce iron substances in their heart, liver and pancreas by blood donation. As a result of it, no organ in human body suffers from any disease. The blood donation reduces stress in human beings. Youths and Adults can donate their valuable blood to minimize the widening gap between demand and supply of blood, he suggested. Sri Girish, Counsellor, delivered a talk on AIDS – Causes and Remedies. Sri Sharankumar and Sri Ashok Omkar, NSS Officers, executed and monitored the programme.
