A Special Talk on “Personal hygiene” was organized on 17.09.2019. It was inaugurated by Dr Eshwar, District Health Education Officer. He spoke about different types of diseases which are commonly found among the public. Dr. Indrani, Medical officer, District Government Hospital, Ballari, delivered a lecture on the diseases which spread through unsafe sexual contacts like AIDS, Syphilis and Gonorrhea. The exhibition of Posters and Photographs was also organized on this occasion. This helped the students to learn about the symptoms of various bacterial, viral and other protozoan diseases. It also provided information regarding the measures to be adopted in the prevention of diseases and taking medical treatment in curing them. A film show on AIDS was also arranged as a part of the awareness programme.

 Sri.G.Mallanagoud, Convener, Health Center. Dr.Vedavyasa Sagar, Smt. Rajashree Patil and Smt. Anuradha were present in the function. Smt.Hema.B., executed the programme and proposed vote of thanks.
