Visit to the Site of Neolithic Age under Experiential Learning

The students of B.A.-Final Year visited the Neolithic period site situated at Sangankal village of Ballari Taluk on 08/09/2018. During the visit, the students observed the cultural and domestic remains of the people of Neolithic age. The site has spread over 1000 acres of land. The tools weapons produced in pebble stones, pictures carved on stones and materials / vessels used for cooking were studied and understood from the historical and archeological point of view. Mr.Ramadas, a local tourist guide, took the students and staff to each site and explained about it in detail. Prof.P.Suresh and Mr.Rudragouda led the students group. This visit helped the students for experiential learning.
